Is it true that a good person can make it to heaven on their own merit?
It may surprise a lot of people to find out that it is not true at all. No matter how hard we try or how good we may think we are, we are all still sinners. Even our thoughts if they are not in line with the Lord, can be a sin. To worry is a sin and not trust in the Lord for the outcome of any circumstance in our lives.
We all need Jesus. He shed his blood on the cross so that we could be covered in that blood to cover our sins and be forgiven. Without the blood of Jesus, none of us could make it to heaven no matter how good we may think we are. Praise the Lord for our Savior, Jesus !!
